Fresh Fruit Trifle

Nearest thing I can get to a proper trifle and not bad at less than 4 syns per large serving. Feel free to add a little sherry on the sponge fingers for an extra half a syn per person

Ingredients

  • 8 Trifle sponge fingers
  • 1 sachet sugar free jelly Raspberry flavour
  • 1 punnet Fresh Raspberries
  • 2 Bananas
  • 1 carton Low Fat ready to serve Custard
  • few drops Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tsp Granulated Sweetener
  • 1 tub Quark

Instructions

  • Make up the jelly as per the packet instructions and as it is cooling, break up the sponge fingers and arrange at the bottom of your glass/bowl. Pour over the jelly evenly between the 4 portions then place in the fridge to set.
  • When set, add the raspberries in a layer and then the sliced bananas.
  • Finally, cover with the low fat custard leaving a little room left to add the final topping.
  • To make the "cream", mix the quark with the sweetener and vanilla in a bowl and then pipe onto the top of the trifle. Decorate with a fresh strawberry & serve.
