I got this idea from a recipe in a “Hello Fresh” box and really enjoyed them so here’s my version.
They are lower in carbs than potatoes so a great choice for an occasional treat
Celeriac chips
Very easy to make & tasty too
Servings 2 People
Ingredients
- 1 Celeriac
- tbsp Olive Oil
Instructions
- Take one celeriac root or as many as you need for enough chips and some olive oil. Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees C
- Peel the celeriac, I find it much easier to use a knife to chop the skin off, especially the "rooty" base
- Cut into the size of chips you would like. Thick ones need longer cooking so make them all similar in thickness
- Splash the oil on the chips and shake so they are all covered then tip onto a baking tray
- Bake in the oven for 30-45 minutes until starting to brown
