Tiramisu

This is delicious but even with it made as low-fat as possible, it is still 6 Syns or 7 if using the Kalhua liqueur. I didn't have any Fromage Frais when I made this so I used Creme Fraiche (You can see in the photos) but that makes it 10 Syns so stick with the correct ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 250 g Fat free fromage frais
  • 250 g Low Fat ready to serve Custard
  • 8 Trifle Sponge Fingers Boudoir Biscuits
  • 100ml Very Strong Coffee
  • 2 tsp Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tsp Dark Chocolate grated
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 4 tsp Kalhu Liqueur Optional (Extra 1 Syn per portion)

Instructions

  • Gather all the ingredients together with four large wine glasses or serving bowls
  • Mix the custard, fromage frais and vanilla extract together
  • Break 4 of the sponge fingers in half and place in the bottom of the glasses and then pour a little of the strong coffee over them to soak up and also add the teaspoon of Kalhua if using (I think it makes a great difference)
  • Spoon half of the custard mix over the sponge fingers then sprinkle a little cocoa powder
  • Add the remaining (broken in half) sponge fingers along with a little more coffee and then add the final layer of custard mix
  • Finish with a sprinkling of cocoa powder and grated chocolate. Chill in the fridge to firm up for 20 minutes then serve
